| Intersting. They are supporting UBUNTU right out of the box. And it apparently has a top that actually opens so you can get into it. Nice. 3.5 inch HDD instead of 2.5 inch so it's probably taller than the Mac Mini. 3.5 inches to be exact. 4.4 pounds, fat little momma! Sound out is wired to the HDMI, fixes another Mac Mini problem. |

How does the Mobility Radeon HD 4330 compare the the Geforce 9400M in the Mini?
Seen any comparisons? |

Did a bit googling earlier but couldn't find much.
Anyone know of a basis for comparison?

there is not any hard info on this. I posted on it a few times and searched a lot so far all blanks. I did find a manual on it o line, but since no one sells or has tested it I think it just may be a clever hoax. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

If Mobility Radeon HD 4330 turns out to be strong then Mini 09' will have some competition, otherwise I don't think it's a threat.
Even with; HDMI out, card reader, eSATA ports, & optional Blue-Ray! Geez I was there was some reviews of this GPU somewhere.... |

I don't think this is a real product yet. I don't think it will be released unti first quarter 2010. Apparently it isn't so easy building a "Mac Mini"! _________________ Retired: Altair 8800, PET, TI 99/4A, Apple II

No I mean reviews of the (512mb?) Mobility Radeon HD 4330.
Preferably with some comparisons to the 9400M

Yep.
Dell is taking prelimanary orders.
It won't be released until the 25th of this Month.

Its a bit too pregnant looking for my tastes..
And starting at $827 for the base model...
I dunno if its going to be a big seller.
There are far cheaper products by Dell themselves, that will give greater bang for the buck.
But the battle is hotting up in the Mini & Micro ATX range...
Thats for sure.
