Currently using Safari 4.0.2 on 10.5.8, although I did first spot this whilst on 10.5.7.

On any page I have open in Safari, if I scroll up and down several times in a row, the colours of the site will all change drastically.

I've made a short video to show those interested. It's a little over 5MB to watch.

Any ideas?!

This just in! Acid 3 score just lowered to 99.9. Wink

I haven't really noticed anything like that in 10.5.7 or 10.5.8. What's the link to that page? I'll give it a try.

It's not page dependent, happens on any, for me.

I guess it could also be something with video out or the display. Does it do this in Firefox or like another browser? What about going up and down in the Finder with apps and stuff?

It's definitely just a Safari issue, it doesn't affect my desktop or Firefox, for example.

I've just found this on the Apple forums, will have a read.

My next step would probably be trashing the com.apple.Safari.plist file in your ~/Library/Preferences folder, but good luck. I wasn't really aware of this being a mass problem.

Looking like a dual-screen Safari error when using Fast User Switching.

I have/use both.

Least I'm not on my own!

Let me know if you find something that works and sticks. I'm having this issue and the "static fuzz" issue coming out of sleep mode with Mini-DVI. I was hoping 10.5.8 would address both of these issues, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I think Apple still has some major work to do with the Nvidia 9400 when it comes to external displays.

Weird!!!

I Experianced this in another way.

I tried to visit the terminator salvation web site i found the colors started to do the same thing i found out that it is a issue with flash player 10.

I found out the site was overloading flash player 10 with to much information and caused this error i found that certain sites had this issue mlb.com being one of them.

Safari Crashed 10 times with the same error

if you fix this please let people here know.

How are you doing with Safari 4.0.3 cheef? I'm still at work and can't test things out.

I've just updated, rebooted, had locked my machine with Fast User Switching.... haven't been able to replicate so far but my machine has only been up for about 5 minutes.

I'll keep an eye on it, as the update did mention a colour correction issue, so I'm hopeful.

Well it's a couple of days since the update, and I've not had any re-occurrence so far. Hopefully it stays that way!
