I'm pretty new to things Mac, so I'm wondering how often these types of stories surface?

If they are pretty regular things, then they probably don't mean much right? _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

Symantec sees the Mac getting more popular and wants to scare up some business. You'll hear news like this from time to time but I wouldn't worry about it. The Mac is a really safe platform with its Unix core and is 99.99% better than Windows.

Well, I suppose it'll happen one day or another. No OS is perfect. And spyware can inflict any OS if the user installs it. I hope there's no revenue in it on the Mac though. _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

I'd like to see more people come over to the Mac but the downside of more people switching over is a bigger threat of more viruses and vulnerabilities. I just hope Apple can stay on top of it!
