IDFusion Software Intros Bodega App Store

IDFusion Software today announced the first public release of Bodega, a new software store for Mac users. Bodega is a free application that provides Mac users a simple platform to find and discover new software. This includes paid, free and open-source software titles. There aren't many actually available in the store at this time, but I think you will agree that Bodega is off to a decent start. The application also allows users to post reviews and ratings, save license keys, track and download software updates, and read press reviews from around the Internet. Now, is that cool, or what? Bodega weighs in at 3.27MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

| I think Apple should do something like this down the road. It might not be as big as the iTunes App Store for them, but I bet it would be very successful. Then again, there's always the downloads section on Apple's website. It just doesn't offer that "iTunes" type management. I shall keep an eye on this application though. Let's hope more developers join the party. |

Neat app, but I think they got a little carried away with the canopy. |

| An interesting concept, but I hate the interface and virtual awning. It's also slow as molasses. |
