I'm glad G4TV brought back Call For Help. I just wish it was on at a later time or I had a TiVo. Gotta work!
I look forward to the longer MacBreaks with Leo. Who is Alex Lindsay? |

He's a regular guest on Call For Help .. he's the 3D/Photoshop guy. (he used to work at ILM)
He now runs: Pixel Corp
Some of his volunteers shoot and edit the TWiT vidcasts ... _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini / 1GB DDR / 80GB HD / Panasonic UJ-845-B 8X DL DVD±RW / 10.4 "Tiger"

Andy Walker was the co-host of Call For Help (in Canada) ... his web site is cyberwalker.com
He recently left the show, and here's why
He has a few podcasts / vidcasts in the works:
Cyberwalker Mondays
Lab Rats!
The Next Big Ping
... and he has a book, "Absolute Beginner's Guide to Security, Spam, Spyware & Viruses _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini / 1GB DDR / 80GB HD / Panasonic UJ-845-B 8X DL DVD±RW / 10.4 "Tiger"

| That's too bad. I wish G4 would move or replay the show everyday after 5PM. Heck they don't even replay them over the weekend. I have a screwy work schedule and would love to see more episodes. I sincerely miss the old TechTV days with TSS, Call For Help, and Silicon Spin. |

Ahhh. origininal ScreenSavers. Yea, that was a good show. I don't watch G4TV these days, so I can't comment about CFH, but I remember the old CFH with Chris. I found Chris P's podcast the other day and I eagerly downloaded it, but he is one wierd guy. I didn't like the podcast at all, and I unsubscribed

If you have broadband, you can download the Call For Help episodes via BitTorrent ... I won't link the site directly, but will tell you a Google search for "Call For Help Tracker" will find it for you! _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini / 1GB DDR / 80GB HD / Panasonic UJ-845-B 8X DL DVD±RW / 10.4 "Tiger"

Thanks for the tip!
I really don't use BT, but that looks like a good way to catch up.
ba747heavy. I never really liked Chris on TV, but his blog is kind of cool. |
