Mozilla today announced the release of Firefox 3.5.1, a new version of their open source Web browser. According to the release notes, this update addresses several security and stability issues. This includes a fix for the critical JavaScript vulnerability in Firefox 3.5 that was acknowledged by Mozilla earlier this week. Firefox 3.5.1 weighs in at 17.5MB requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Nice job Mozilla! Let this be an example to Apple and Microsoft on how you should jump on major security issues. You don't wait around for months and months.

From your lips to the ears of Ballmer and Jobs. I don't know how Microsoft is doing with IE, but it took Apple months to patch the last critical issue. |

| I'm glad they squashed that Javascript vulnerability in a timely matter. I pretty much use Firefox across all platforms as my default brower. |
