Let's just hope this update fixes the hard drive space eating portion of Safari 4. I downloaded it when it first came out, was unhappy about the hard drive space it hogged in history and caches, and replaced it with Safari 3. I just re-downloaded it yesterday, and although I'm enjoying faster Internet browsing, it's once again eating my hard drive space. Oh well.

Safari 4 has proven very unstable for me. I hope this fixes it.

I'm doing better, but I still think Safari 4 needs work. It's funny, though, because I still think the beta release was less problematic.

Safari 4.0.2 @ 40.2MB. I just thought that was kind of cool. Smile

I don't know about some of the other issues, but Safari 4.0.2 feels faster than the first two releases. It doesn't seem to do as well as Firefox 3.5 when it comes to memory consumption though. I'm talking 133MB compared to 78MB doing the same tasks.
