Apple has updated its refurbished Mac mini offerings in the Apple Store. The 1.25GHz Mac mini with 256MB RAM is now priced at $379. The 1.42GHz Mac mini with 256MB RAM and Combo drive is priced at $439. Apple also has the 1.42GHz Mac mini with 512MB RAM, SuperDrive, Built-in AirPort Extreme, and Bluetooth for $599. All three models are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty and include free shipping.
Amazon is offering $50 and $75 mail-in rebates on new Mac minis. The 1.25GHz Mac mini and 1.42GHz Mac mini with Combo drive have $50 dollar mail-in rebates. The 1.42GHz Mac mini with SuperDrive has a $75 mail-in rebate. All three models include free shipping. The mail-in rebates must be postmarked by December 8th 2005.

I was finally enticed. $379 for the 1.25...
$19 for the television adapter (no it's not HD yet)
which leaves enough for the 1Gig memory for $99
and enough for the OWC hard drive enclosure @ $89,
Yes, I am very frugal (read cheap).
They did get me though.
