I had OS9 on an old iMac I bought for $30. All I did was all the Firmware Upgrades Online First. When I stuck the Tiger Disk In afterwards, You could hardly read the Install Screens but I Practically blindly did the entire Upgrade Successfully but the Video Card still Looked B&W & hard to read. I then started doing the Tiger Updates & with like the 3rd Update, The Screen rebooted to Color & Clear as a Bell. It remains that way Presently.
