| I'm about to order my iPhone but I wanted to know if anyone can help me figure out this dilemma. I need to figure out how to get all my contacts from my Blackberry to my iPhone. Since my Blackberry never really synced right with my Macbook, I dont have a good way of getting my contacts on my new iPhone. |

If ypu are using the same carrier (I'm not even sure it would have to be) could you copy all your contacts onto your blackberry sim and copy them onto the iPhone from that sim card ? There is an option to import sim contacts on my iPhone and I'm using a sim card from my corporate phone.

I just had to do this very same thing with my wife's blackberry.
Adding the contacts to the sim card was only possible to do one-by-one, which would have taken hours to do.
I wound up using a free app called "PocketMac for Blackberry" to sync the Blackberry's contacts up with Address Book on my MacBook. The app was a pain to get and install, and running it seemed wonky also. It never would finish, but when I just quit it, all the contacts were indeed in my Address Book. I then synced up the iPhone and all the contacts were transferred.
You can get the app HERE. A word of warning: the app is free, but they try to sell you something every step of the process of getting the download. Just keep saying 'No Thanks. Continue to checkout...' and when you get to checkout, delete the crap that they automatically add to the cart. When it comes time to enter your info, you can just make stuff up, and then finally submit your 'order', and it will give you the download link.
BTW, this will only work with a usb cable connected to your Blackberry.
Good luck, and congratulations on the switch. Blackberries are satan's spawn, the calculator brick from hell! |

| yeah, I have pocketmac and it doesn't work properly. I now have duplicate dates in my calendar and multiples of the same contact in my address book. I was looking for another idea. Thanks guys! Oh and yes, I'm going from Tmobile to ATT. |
