I have about 2000 songs. Most are from my own CD's but I still have quite a few to rip. But it just takes too long. I hope to get a big hard drive and rip lossless some day.
I live in Canada so I can download as many songs as I want legally. The problem is most of the commercial stuff out nowadays sucks.
I'd rather listen to songs off the podsafe music network. Which I normally get a good variety of by listening to Podcasts. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you were only breaking the law if you let people upload from you?

Depends on where you are in the world. In the U.S., it's illegal to upload or download. In Canada, it's only illegal to upload. In China, it's illegal not to upload or download*.

Is there a torrent program that allows you to disable uploading? |

i would buy CDs if i had something worth playing them on. |
Its still illegal, whatever "justification" that you have for it. If you're going to download illegally, do so, but know that its illegal, and don't make excuses. |

It's the severity of the crime that I question not the illegality. _________________ 1.83ghz Macbook, Stock, Dell 2007wfp
