Hi,

I found the very inconvenience of unable to browse some middle page in a many-page forum: e.g. into the "General software" forum you see that 'go to page 1, 2, 3, ... 52, 53, 54 next'; so how do you get to page 37? You have to either go forward from page3 for 34 times or go backward from page 52 for 15 times to get there! I hope the forum or site designer can add a small window like: go to page ### that users can type the page number to browse much faster.

Not quite what you want, but with phpBB, if you look at the address bar, and a there will be a post number that the page should render from. Just change that post number to something bigger.

For example, the last movie seen thread URL is:
http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10134&highlight=

Page 2 starts with:
http://www.123macmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10134&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

Just change that last number to whatever page you want minus one times 15, or (Page# - 1) * 15. That would give you the same thing as that specific page. You can also just guestimate a number and use that.

Well, that is the way phpBB is. I've never seen a mod to do what you desire, but it is a feature on some forum engines, and in particular it's in Invisions Power Board.

I'm sure I would be in your remedial math class, so I just might be a star then!
