Flip4Mac Updates WMV Player

Flip4Mac has announced the release of Flip4Mac WMV Player v2.2.2.3. The free WMV Player allows Mac users to play Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) directly in the QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using a web browser. According to the release notes, this update basically adds Garbage Collection support in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The update weighs in at 10.1MB and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and QuickTime 7.

I love this Flip4Mac, specially since I've been watching lots of tutorials on SharePoint and other Microsoft stuff lately ...and they're mainly in wmv format.

I just hope they fixed the Safari crashing issue when a WMV isn't left to fully load.
