Can anyone using dual displays tell me how OSX behaves if you turn off one of the monitors while OSX is running? Does it still see the the other monitor in System Preferences>Displays, ie showing an option for "Arrangement" etc? If the second monitor is off and you activate 'Spaces' do you see the spaces for one monitor or two? Does the edge of the screen that usually goes to the second monitor still let you move a Finder window off screen?
I am trying to determine if the behavior with my display and projector and my Hackintosh with a GeForce 8800gt is 'normal' or not.
