|
|
Hi all, I'm new to Mac and never used it in past. I've more than 10 years of development experience on Microsoft/Sybase platform and want to get my hands dirty with iPhone/iPotTouch app development. I dont want to invest too much into it but it seems to build iPhone App you must have Mac machine. So I want to know if Mac mini is a good thing to look into for this kind of thing or I should opt for Macbook or iMac ? I can buy mac mini from Microcenter for like $400 or entry level Macbook for like $800. Do anyone know of a good place to look for iPhone application development requirements ?
Thanks in advance. _________________ CHEERS

| Any Intel Mac is more than sufficient for development purposes. |

definitely any Intel Mac will do.
And, as of the latest update, the mini is again the best bang-for-your-buck Mac available. _________________ -=iMav=-

Yep, it went from a big rip-off (for the cost) to a pretty good deal. |

OKAY here is the deal, I ordered wireless Apple keyboard from ebay and received it today. I'm gonna get my mini on next Thrusday.
The box in which keyboard came there is no software disc. I want to know if I'll need a software to install my wireless keyboard. Also I want to know if there is a way to download drivers for wireless keyboard in case I cannot get disc from seller. If anyone could please post URL for the software that comes with keyboard that would be great. It is a new aluminum bluettoth keyboard. _________________ CHEERS
