That's great! I also like how he drools over the MacBook Air.
I haven't seen a parody of those ads, but that's going to be hard to beat. |

| I just think it's funny that someone is checking out with an iMac or something behind her. |

The latest ad hits on the MacBook Pro only having 2GB of RAM. You gotta give them props on that one. I'm not sure what real film maker uses Vista though.

HaHa, she's saving her money for a boob-job!
The funny thing is, Vista with 4 GB of RAM still probably has less free memory available than OSX with 2GB.
And if you can't figure out how to upgrade the memory in a MBP, you probably shouldn't own one anyway.... |

Yeah, it looks like she could use that upgrade.

I'm not a Windows fan, but that really isn't true. Leopard and Windows 7 RC seem to do about the same memory management wise.
Windows 7 RC
Right after startup: 3.21GB free
With IE 8, Live Mail and iTunes 8.1.1 running: 3.03GB free
Leopard
Right after startup: 3.16GB free
With Safari 4, Mail and iTunes 8.1.1 running: 3.07GB free |

I don't think it's literally true, I was just rippin' on Vista. I am running Windows 7, and it is definitely much faster than it's memory-hungry predecessor.
My point was that a MacBook Pro running OS X is much better than any computer running Vista... If it came down to needing more memory, you just need to throw an extra $50 at it...it's not something worth being stuck with a crappy OS over...

Yeah, nothing says film maker like Windows Movie Maker. |
