I feel for you! I hate it when that happens to people.
You're not going to like me saying this but.... I don't know why anyone would buy a 4GB nano now when you can have 30GB of storage and video for $50 more. |

I bought a Nano the day it was available in our local Apple store. The release of the new video iPod doesn't change things for me one bit. I gladly gave up my 60GB photo for the Nano. The form factor is really what I was after. I was after the shuffle portability, but with the "normal" iPod interface and the Nano fit the bill perfectly. Going back to a more bulky unit doesn't appeal to me at all. In addition, I would rarely find myself in a situation where I would need to watch a show or movie on a screen that small.
It's kinda cool and I'm sure it will fit the need for some, but I'm just not one of them. |

I agree. The Nano and the iPod Video really target two different audiences. _________________ Apple Mac Mini

I have the 30gig iPod photo and thought the same thing when I heard of the release of the 5th gen about feeling bad for the nano buyers. I personally think i'm going to buy the video if its possible to put DVDs on them if you rip them to your computer. anyone know? _________________ -CraigNB <3 |

I still have doubts... is it really really worth it??? I mean, I think its good if you travel a lot.... or... for your car as a dvd player... hmmmm... not quite sure enough to buy it... _________________ 1.6 Ghz iMac G5 1.25Gb Ram

Well I'm a college student in Boston and spend a lot of time on the subway and busses (and in class haha) so to me it'd be worth it to have my mp3 player, and portable dvd all in one unit for $300. Sold my 30 gig photo today for 200 so pretty excited to get the new one soon. _________________ -CraigNB <3 |

I wonder how long it will be before you can download your favorite TV shows (with commercials no doubt) from the networks. I'd buy a vPod for that. _________________ Courtland Bates

Apple already sells tv shows for a 1.99 a piece and they are commercial free! the only reason i would not get one is the small screen size. plus i have a PSP so just as good _________________ Mac Mini 1.42

Here's a pretty unbiased comparison of the PSP and the new [video]iPod. The iPod holds its own, enough to make me start looking at my budget for next month.
