It just goes to show, that under that well manicured look of middle class civility, Bill's soul, still festers with simmering emnity towards Jobs & Apple.
Apparently even his wife is banned from owning an iPhone.

In respect to this olde chestnut...
Microsoft did (emphasis on did) own shares in Apple way back when Apple was in financial trouble.
Quoting Wiki..
"The company was struggling financially under then-CEO Gil Amelio when on August 6, 1997 Microsoft bought a US$150 million non-voting share of the company as a result of a court settlement with Apple."
The substance of the agreement was discussed on PBS way back in 97.

However, if MS had held onto those shares till recently, they would have reaped over $4 Billion in profits.
By comparison it is interesting to note, that had they bought the same amount of shares in MS, their net profit would have been less than $100 Million.
But then again...may that's all Bullsh*t too....
