Ok, this may be a confusing question.
Currently I have 3 CD2 minis in my house. All of them share the same itunes library via alias (files are on a NAS). I have noticed in the past that if itunes is open on any of the minis, then Frontrow is almost useless (no music can be accessed).
I am thinking about getting an Apple TV. If I go this route, then will I have to have itunes open on one of my mini's to use it. And if yes, then am I not able to access content via frontrow on any of my other mini's until I have closed itunes?
Hope this makes sense.... |

| You don't even need iTunes open if the content is synced to your Apple TV. You only need iTunes open if you're streaming. Now, the question is can you sync to the Apple TV from the aliases in iTunes. I'm pretty sure you can, but I need to test things out. All of my content is imported into iTunes and sitting on the internal. |
