25 years ago today, Mac launched its 128K computer. BBC World News is running a brilliant article with a side-by-side demostration of how much faster the $2,500 (a LOT of money in those days) MacPlus was than a modern PC with Windoze XP.

<JohnnyBoy goes on an angry rant>

Hey Barbie, I've got a great idea. Why don't we compare the OS that Microsoft were selling in 1984 with your 2009 laptop? After about 30 seconds of that, you'll be trying to improve your "user experience" by tearing out your own fingernails...

You "believe"? How much was this airhead paid not to type "Apple Macintosh" into Wikipedia? Or aren't MSN workers allowed to type "Apple Macintosh" into Wikipedia?

She couldn't even be bothered to get any specs, like the display resolution, so why would she know about internal storage, or a separate external floppy drive?

I can't imagine why she decided to keep using her laptop....
