Hi All...
Perhaps its more simple than I'm making it out to be...I am very much excited about exploring around the XBMC and Boxee environment especially being that they are skinnable and more robust than the traditional frontrow look that the apple tv has. I am hoping someone out there can point me to a decent tutorial on configuring them both to find my media! I currently use my mac mini with an external hard drive storing all of my iTunes content (movies, music) and also my photos using alias's on the mini for iPhoto to find them there. Currently this setup works pretty well streaming movies and music to my living room where the apple tv and LCD are. Except for a few annoying instances where I have to reboot the mini in order for it to see the atv it works great. I successfully created the USB patchstick containing XBMC and Boxee hoping as I stated above to expand the look and feel of my media content. No problems loading the patchstick on the apple tv and going through the updates. BUT......what is the simplest way to point the ATV's new co-habitat's towards my media content? Everything now is in the iTunes folder which I know doesn't like to share with others....given the iTunes folder is on the external HDD. Any thoughts and/or help would be awesome!
PS........I would love to use last.fm through Boxee....any invites out there?
thanks
