NuBracket for Mac Mini
Wednesday September 28, 2005

Newer Technology has released the NuBracket for Mac mini. The NuBracket is a small bracket that allows you to mount your Mac mini's power adapter underneath a desk, shelf, or to a wall. The bracket has a white powder coated finish and is made out of aluminum. The kit also includes screws for mounting. This product compliments the NuShelf mini from Newer Technology. The NuShelf mini is an acrylic mount that cradles your Mac mini underneath a desk or shelf. The NuBracket is shipping now and priced at $7.99.

Fancy Schmancy

I'll stick with my 10 cent zip ties and keep the brick hidden for now. But if the brick were exposed this is a cool product. I love clean cable work.

For $8 it seems kind of expensive, but by the time you go to the hardware store, buy aluminum etc. you'd spend more than $8 with todays gas prices.

I know someone this would be perfect for! Laughing

A simple product like this would be perfect in a data center or Mac mini colocation. It might be good if you have a mobile computer cart like mine. 8 bucks is kind of a rip though.

Embarassed Meant to post this here.

A fast, easy and cheap alternate method is to use velcro strips that are sticky on the opposite side. I use a heavy duty version (local hardware store) that is about 2" X 3" to hold my mini power supply under the table.

Contributes to neat cabling.
