Just a small note concening Dell's broadening range of customer available OS's

It appears that Dell is now offering Freedos, alongside of Linux OpenSuse and Vista...& XP.

I could be mistaken, but I think this is the first time I have ever seen Freedos being offered.

I wonder how long before they offer an XP alternative, like Reactos, or a flavour of Unix like FreeBSD ?

Talk about a trip down memory lane. When I bought my first computer (an IBM clone with 2-360kb floppies and no HD), there was DOS and no such thing as Windows. My knowledge of arcane DOS commands was helpful when I began messing around with Linux.

(A) Your boss has given you the boot.

In such a case, this is infinitely better than punching him out.

Just punch that deadly command into his computer instead... Laughing

Dell has offered Free DOS for a while, they had it as far back, as far as I know of for sure, when they first offered Ubuntu.
