Hey castaway,
Thanks for the newslink.
But....
Sorry to say, but that's pretty hefty for a unit that doesn't have a DVD drive.
The thing is almost a 1 Ft long by 8" wide in the olde money.
(I am always wary of obliquely angled photographs of things that are pretending to be smaller than they really are..)
Its hardly tiny..
Check these out by comparison...

The Zonbox is equally useful...and compact.
But hopefully Wind will get smaller...

I hadn't realized until I checked your links that these devices can be mounted on the back of a monitor. That's impressive - an iMac without an all-in-one! _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

Fox,
For my money,
Either the little Lintop or Zonbox, would be perfect if they had Firewire.
Installing Linx via USB-2, would be a real slow, pain in the whats-it...
Cheers

I've installed via a USB flash drive and that's a pain to do. I would want something a bit beefier than the Linutop though, maybe 1GHz and 1GB RAM with 4-8GB storage via a CF card (internal or external access) and possibly Wi-Fi, then you could put something like Xubuntu on it and watch it fly along with having a good support community. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
