Email problems...

I have my iphone set up with my yahoo.com account. I don't think that yahoo supports 'push' but thats another story....

So I have the settings on retrieve every half hour. The problem is that when it downloads new mail, they don't appear on the home screen mail icon with a 1 or however many there are to indicate new mail.

I have to open up mail>inbox and then I see them all showing as already read.

Anyone know why this might be?

Do you have other email accounts set up? I don't seem to have that problem with my Yahoo account. Although, mine is set to Fetch every 15 minutes. It's also set up as the default account. I would try deleting the account and start over.
