Far Cry SHadows and Swaying Grass

HI there!

I have been playing far cry on my mini now for a while. I have installed the latset patches(1.4). These are the settings I play the game on:
Texture Quality: Very High
Texture Filtering:Bilinear
Particle Count:Low
Special Effects Quality:Very High
Shadows Quality: Very High
Enviroment Quality:Low
Water Quality:Medium
Lighting Quality:Low

You might think that as the GMA 950 is not a card designed for gaming, and that I am stressing it out too much, but I get around 10-15 fps with these settings an that is DAMN Playable! The first time I ran the game, I got swaying grass and vegetation and shadows falling onto my weapon from the moving trees, but now I dont get any of these features. I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I could fix this problem As it worked perfectly the first time!
Any suggestions?
