| I can't wait to see what everything looks like, but some of the rumors have me bummed out. Especially when it comes to the pricing of the new Cinema display. |

| Me, I'm hoping against hope for a Mac Mini Miracle--please let that $899 price point item be the answer to our prayers! |

Why even hold the event now? It seems like everyone knows what is coming out. |

I'm for the update, but not at that price point. Unless it's a Pro mini with some kick ass features. That would be cool.

Steve Jobs is probably saying the same thing. I liked these events when Apple was more secretive. It seems like so many leaks are coming out of Apple these days with the spy shots and all. And on that note, I can't believe that Apple is going glossy-only with the MacBook Pro. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Which is why the Mac mini is so important, IMHO. If you want to be able to choose your display (aspect ratio, size, type of panel, glossy or matte, etc) then you only have the Mac mini and Mac Pro. _________________ Mac mini 2010 (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz/8 GiB)

Then the universe would implode, of course, destroying our dreams of Mini-tastic utopia

Do you think that economics or emotion is behind the shocking neglect of the Mac Mini? Is it a SJ-hates-cheap-headless-Macs thing, or due instead to a surplus of old, yet costly components which need to be offloaded on the public via Mini sales until they eventually run out--at which point the device will finally be updated?

That probably would be a sign of the apocalypse.

I would have to see the new MacBooks in person, but it's starting to look like the Mac mini and Mac Pro are the only Macs for me. I really cannot stand glossy displays. Then again, you can connect the MacBooks to an external display. |

Yeah, that's where my eyes will be. They also seem to have the best quality pictures. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
