Hi,
I am not sure to be in the right forum. Please re-direct me if necessary.
I tried all the Skype avenues; Help, forum, support (I get an automated acknowledgement and the assurance of a reply within 72 hours, but it never materializes)
Since Skype is unable to address my problem, I hope that another Mac user may have experienced the same problem with some success and could tip me about it.
I use a 2 GHz Intel core 2 duo Mac mini running Mac OS X 10.4.11
My Skype version is 2.7.0.0330
I usually call (Skype to Skype) my daughter in NZ. She has a Vista PC laptop
The sound quality is clear but so many packets are missing that it is very difficult to understand what is being said. This is true in both directions.
The broadband I use is only 125K. Not much, I know, but when I call my daughter's fixed telephone using Mediaring (a VOIP company based in Singapore), the sound is quite good. Same broadband.
Many people find Skype sound quality excellent, so there must be some adjustment that will correct the problem.
I hope someone can help me and thank you in advance. |
