Apple Releases HP Printer Driver 1.1.1

Apple has released the HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 via its Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, the HP Printer Driver Update includes the latest drivers for printers you have used on your system. This update will only be visible if the printer is connected to your computer or a print queue has been created for an earlier version. The HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 weighs in at 405MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.3 or later.

I never use or install the printer drivers that apple uses. Plus if you install them with the OSX disk its like 2-3GB! Who need a driver for every printer ever made by every printer company?
I guess Apple isn't as dedicated to a non-bloated OS as they claim to be. |

2-3gb! which for most people, supports one printer!
surely they could then detect which one you had and delete the rest of the install? |
