| Cool man. I was going to run out to the workshop for some needle-nose pliers, but it got late. How did it turn out for you? |

GREAT! Why didn't I think of that! So simple. Once you do it, you'll never be without a stand, just carry a paper clip with you. In a pinch, you can bend it by hand and it still works.

What a great idea! I didn't even follow the instructions. I just started to bend a large paper clip into the general shape after straightening it out.
I should start selling these around school. I could even do them in colors.
Thanks for posting! |

This is a big "Why didn't I think of that!" thing. I'm going to bend one up here tonight. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Yeah, the paperclip works well. I have a funny story though. I thought it turned out nice, so I showed it to my wife. She was like, you want something like that? Well, it didn't take her long to top it. She went upstairs and came down with a mini plate stand. It's similar to this, but even smaller. It works nice and even folds up. That said, I still like my little minimalist paperclip stand. It's more me, if you know what I mean. |
