SIMS 2 teenagers growing up

Ok, so I recently got sims 2 for my birthday, and made my sim a teen, and made a dad too. But i was wondering if once you get a girlfriend and propose to go steady when you turn into and adult, does your girlfriend turn into and adult too? and if not, does anyone no any cheats or anything that lets make a sim turn into the next stage(toddler to child, child to teenager, teenager to adult etc.) cause then when my sim turns into an adult, i could just use the cheat or whatever to make her one, too.


(P.S , Sims 2 runs fine on my mac mini 1.83 ghz, lags a bit when in community places, but it doesnt bother me really, its faster than it was on my pc at least )

thanks, but i found somethin out, yours prob works better tho:P

if ur wonderin , i just brought up the cheat box (shift control c) then typed in boolprop testingcheatsenabledtrue and then if u hold shift and click on ur sim, u can click set age...- set to birthday, so im just gunna do that to both sims, thanks alot tho!
