Hi.
I'm a windows developer that would like to try and make some iphone apps. I'm concidering buying a mac mini for this. Have anyone tryed using the mac mini for Xcode and iPhone development? The spec's on the mac mini isn't exactly very powerful, but would prefere buying a cheap machine like mac mini since I will only use it for development
Anyone willing to share their experience would be great!

You should be fine.
I've run some code for classes in XCode a few times and didn't have any issues. I have a 2.0 upgraded from a 1.6 Core solo mini. However, i also have a 7200 RPM drive in it.
I would assume that anything for the iPhone would be fairly lite, so it wouldn't be an issue. _________________ Core 2 duo 2.0 Mini on a 26" Sharp LC-26GD4U GO CANES!!!! |
