Apple has released iTunes 5.0.1, an update to its digital music jukebox software for both Mac and Windows. The update is available as a 12.6MB download via the Mac OS X Software Update. You can also download iTunes 5.0.1 as a direct 13.8MB download here. Apple says this "release features a new even more powerful instant search, including the new Search Bar which helps you find exactly what you are looking for in iTunes or from among 2 million songs on the Music Store, folders for organizing playlists, and new Parental Controls for music, music sharing and podcasts. iTunes 5.0.1 features several stability improvements over iTunes 5."
