Camino 1.6.3 Released

The Camino Project today announced the release of Camino 1.6.3, a maintenance release of their web browser for Mac OS X. According to the release notes, Camino 1.6.3 was upgraded to version 1.8.1.16 of the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine, which includes several critical security and stability fixes. Therefore, it is recommended for all Camino 1.6.x users. Camino 1.6.3 weighs in at 15.2MB, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

| This is the equivalent of FF 2.0.15 (rather than FF3.0.1 which uses Gecko 1.9)? |

It's trailing Firefox 3, but the nightlies supposedly switched over to Gecko 1.9 a couple months ago. So it's in place for Camino 2.0. Don't ask me when that's coming out though.

Use it as standard browser. Its nice, comfortable and does its stuff. Load the latest night build at about 2 weekly intervals. never lets me down.
