Hi
Has anyone got Roblox to run on their Mini in Windows XP under Boot Camp?
http://www.roblox.com/Games.aspx
It won't run under VMWare Fusion.
I get 'Graphics failed to initialize'.
I am hoping that it will do better in Boot Camp
I haven't set up Boot Camp on my Mini, just yet.
How is the Mini for general gaming in Windows under Boot Camp?
TIA |

Gaming is much better in boot camp.
Due to the fact the gma chipset in the mini gets 128 megs of graphics power in windows where in mac os x it only gets 64.
Just remember if your computer has a intel nvidia or ati graphics card go to there web sites and download there drivers for windows this is because the drivers on the leopard disk suck and limit what you can run. so far there are several games that work on a limited scale here is a list of what i have run on my mini using boot camp.
1. Halo (runs fine even though it gives you a your processor isn't supported error at startup this is due to halo not understanding the intel core duo and core single processor but still runs all you do is click continue.)
2. Doom 3 (runs turn off everything in advance options and drop the resolution to low)
3. Quake 4 (runs ok kinda laggy at times)
This is just a few titles i have run.
It is basiclly trial and error |
