I use it all the time, great little utility
Caffeine is a tiny program that puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar. Click it to prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, ...

I just love the names of OS X apps. Often the name alone makes me smile
Sounds like a great little application.
Here a little app that I think is neat.

Backdrop - fills your background with a solid color. Great for watching videos that aren't full screen. |

Also handy for checking for dead pixels.
Actually, I use PiXel Check for doing that. |

| Ok I have a quick question because I won't get my mac for about another day but this program caffeine, can't you just adjust your sleep setting and screen saver to a longer period of time so you can watch youtube and hulu without interruptions. On my pc I think I have it set to 2 hours which is way more time than I need but it prevents the monitor from fading to black or going to sleep if I'm in the middle of watching something. |

Yes, you can, but it's very inconvenient, and requires going back to "re-do" all the normal settings after watching your program. Normally I really want my screen saver to kick in pretty quickly, and for the monitor to sleep a certain time after that. Caffeine allows me to switch those settings off quickly, and even if I forget to switch it off again it times out eventually anyway. _________________ MacMini 2GHz C2D 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD| Panasonic TH-37PX60U | iPhone 3G 16GB
