iPod Touch

So I think someone stole my iPod Touch off my desk yesterday. I swore I left it there, went out for a couple hours, come back and it's not there. So what I want to know, how easy is it to break through that pass code? I really don't have anything personal in it, other than some contacts, calendar, and some emails. But I'm just wondering if someone's going to be able to get into it and view all my stuff. I changed all my passwords, turned off my emails' IMAPs, etc, to be on the safe side...

Can't believe people...

Another question, since I'm Touchless, when can we except an updated Touch? Any roomers on new features and what not? I'd rather hold off it a new one is in the near future...

Rumors are that Apple should update the touch shortly after the release of the iPhone 2.0. These are purely rumors though.

That sucks that someone stole your Touch. It really doesn't surprise me though. Was this your desk at work?

I'm not too sure about the pass-code. It's likely very difficult to crack. More than likely the Touch will end up reformatted.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. I hope soon they will announce that, but I'd be happy enough with the current.

Nope, off my desk in my OWN HOME! Brother visiting out of town, invites some people over when I leave, I come home earlier, tell people to get out, apparently iPod, too. After I discovered that, brother is now staying in a hotel. Rolling Eyes

Absolutely sick that your home was violated like that. Of course now you have to look around to see what else may be missing.

On the note of iPod/iPhones getting stolen this video was just put on digg. Be patient if it doesn't start immediately there are lots of people viewing it.

I'm betting that Apple will have a special event in September. That's usually when they bring out the new iPods for the fall.

By the way, I hope that you changed your iTMS password. It would suck if this dirtbag bought a bunch of stuff from the Wi-Fi music store.

It is pretty sick, weird feeling.. Luckily that was the only thing stolen, I don't have many small things that someone can easily walk out with.

Eh, I don't know if I can wait until September. I'll give it a couple weeks, and that's it. I need an iPod Laughing

I'm not sure how iTunes works on the Touch, never use it... but I've changed all my passwords for everything I can think of, just to be on the safe side.

Yes, we had a nice little talk. No one admits to taking it (big surprise..). I tore the house apart, can't find it. So it had to be taken, as I'm pretty anal about where I take/leave/carry it. So he's (brother) going to give me money for a new one.
