White iPhone 3G

I'm like 75% sure that I'm going with the all black iPhone 3G, but does anyone else think the white model would've looked cooler with a white front? I think that it looks a little odd with the white back and black front. It might look better in person though. What do you think?

I am going with all black on this one. The only thing that would make me even consider the white would be that it probably hides fingerprints better. You are right in that it looks a little off with the black front, never even thought of that.

Hmm.. I don't know. I kinda like the white and silver. If it weren't for the fact that all my current accessories are black, I think I would buy the white. It's just that much more "different". Wink

I don't think the color of the back really matters to me. Chances are I'll have mine in a leather or silicone case. A black front also gives the screen a little more contrast.

I agree with everything you guys are saying, especially about the fingerprints. I just think it would have look better like this fake. I might have even picked it over black.

I think I want to see them in person first, however it did surprise me that the white was limited only to the back of the iPhone.

I'm getting the white one. Primarily because of the fingerprints, but also to mach my PSP, Wii and various accessories, including the earphones.

I think keeping the front black kinda makes sense, since it's prmarily about making the screen look larger.

If I could have seen the future, I would have ordered a white nano, and then tried out the white 3g.

Since my nano is black, I'll probably go with black...

Black, White, Silver all seem to be the colors of electronics these days, eventually they'll all three just match with whatever...

I just wish that each model came with (or Apple offered) matching accessories and cables. I mean nothing looks as nice as a black iPhone sitting in a white dock with white cables running to it. Rolling Eyes
