Looks like the upcoming software upgrade will mean that the iPhone will be able to read iWork and Office docs....

Here is an interesting iPhone 3G upgrade incentive for O2 UK customers
http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-9964795-37.html
"iPhone users in the U.K. will have an option to upgrade to the new iPhone 3G without paying full price for a new model."
It will be interesting to see if other carriers do the same. |

That's nice. I wish that was going on here. |

Yeah, it looks like there will be no chance to purchase an iPhone online at all....

Didn't own one, but I liked the back of the original iPhone better. That glossy plastic, in black at least, is going to be a huge fingerprint magnet. It could also make it slippery to hold. But that's not enough to turn me off. I'm sure that I'll have mine in a skin or case shortly after getting it. |

| No iChat! I still can't get over that one. I know AOL is working on AIM, but what happened? |

My opinion is that Apple is mostly done with building new apps for the iPhone. Why would they when they have over 25,000 developers chomping at the bit to build their own.
My guess, a 3rd party app will be built similar to iChat and maybe one more that allows you to actually send and receive pictures via text messaging!

Don't tell anyone, but I think my old Cassiopeia E-100 running WindowsCE did copy & paste. It's very strange that Apple didn't add this feature again. It doesn't seem like one of those things that would be hard to do either. What do they need, a second button? |
