Apple Releases Security Update 2008-003

Apple has released Security Update 2008-003 (PPC) via its Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, Security Update 2008-003 is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X. Previous security updates have been incorporated into this security update. More information about the security contents of Security Update 2008-003 can be found here. Security Update 2008-003 weighs in at 111MB, and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later. The update is not required on systems already running Mac OS X 10.5.3.

It looks like major groundwork before the WWDC. I smell some iLife updates coming next. Then we should see a major iTunes upgrade along with the 3G iPhone announcement. June sure is going to be exciting!
