Thanks Philip that was great advice.
How do I know I'm selling it to someone
who will pay me? What are some steps
I can take to reduce my chances of getting
ripped off? I would be a new lister so I
may not be trusted either, right?
Is their a good site on the web that can
help explain the unknown? Ebay's site
isn't a confidence builder, for me.
Ebayers have tried to rip me off but have
not succeeded.
I bet being ripped off as selling is different.
I'm an experienced buyer but a noob seller.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks again!

Yeah paypal for sure. If I wasn't so far in debt right now I would try to buy it. I have been wanting a Martin for years. I been putting off acoustics for years. I have no idea what its worth right now. I would just put in the time and study what others are getting and go from there.

The problem is I can't find a 20 year old
never used new Guitar. They just don't
exist, so I guess the price should be on
the high end or above for a 20 year old
Martin thats been referb'ed. I'll take Philip's
advice and put it on eBay and set a minimum
amount of money I'll sell it for.

That would be a problem lots are used. Sometimes you get the rare bird that's untouched but not often.

Here something you can watch maybe give you a rough idea. Hope it helps.

Maybe start your bid or set your reserve at what this one peaks out at. If your gonna do a buy it now I am sure you can kind of come up with what your willing to take. Set it higher with a best offer and see if you get offered more than you wished for. Phil had great advice I am not even sure this is the exact guitar. Anyways good luck.

Thanks for the link.
Thats my model but I have the
"Special" D 18 version. His bid
is starting out at what I paid for
my Martin 22 years ago.
His looks like its in nice condition.
My Martin isn't in nice condition
its in new condition.

I'll keep close track of what his
sells for to see if I should bother
or not. I don't need the money
it would just come in real handy.
The Martin doesn't eat so it doesn't
cost me anything to let it sit and
its not losing value and you'll
win the lottery and buy it from me
or something like that.

If I hadn't developed severe arthritis
in my hands it wouldn't be new.

I thank you and Philip for your help
and advice!!!!!!!!

I started out playing drums, then guitar. I am rusty but it's coming back, I missed playing them. This way I don't disturb anyone, if I don't want to

I know what you mean about disturbing people. Some people are very disturbed when they hear me play Very Happy. Not really, though. Virtual drums are just the ticket for people with issues of space, neighbors, or are apartment dwellers. Looks like a very nice set.

I also play the drums. They were my
first instrument. My neighbors were
thrilled! I'm old so electric
Drum's didn't exists way back when.

Whats your favorite Drummer joke?

Mine was,
Who's the groupy who always hangs
around the musicians and wont leave
them alone.......you know......the Drummer?

Its funny, back in school for music class
anyone who couldn't learn to read music
magically became a drummer and
any student who didn't have the coordination
to play the drums became our new cymbal
player. I guess thats why there are so many
jokes that put down drummers. Isn't it ironic
that there are no cymbal player jokes.
