Why are you worried? Are there like rumors or something about it going out of business?

Nah, not really. When I visited the shop it was absolutely rammed!
Talk about kid in a sweet shop, I was so long in there the Mrs had finished her shopping and came looking for ME Embarassed
The bloke said they have been double busy in the run up to Crimbo and are taking loads of orders for instruments -something to do with a zero % deal that the "Arts Council" is sponsoring.
...But with the current financial situation in the UK sods law says that -"Andy has paid a £150 deposit so company must go bust" Wink

Oh, that sounds interesting. I wish we would do something like that for the kids here in our country.

Woohoo!
New Strat turned up the other day and she's magic!
I had to laugh when the Mrs said (after several hours of "just checking it out") "you never run your fingers up and down me like that!"

Anyways, prepare yourself for some "worksafe" porn Wink

You can't really see the "high gloss" neck in the picture but if you look near the bottom E string machine head you get an idea of what it's like...

In the white room with black curtains near the station... Cool

Nice looking Strat man! I bet that neck is even more slinky smooth than your EB strings. No crap, I bet it plays fast.

That's a nice Strat, enjoy it. I just added two additions, 2 Aria Pro IIs, awesome sound. They are from the 80's:

Those look nice Bobaloo! I like the finish on both of them. Which one do you think sounds better? My money is on the double cutaway. Cool

Yes devo, the one on the right is hotter but I always wanted an Explorer shape. The are 80-85 vintage. The double cutaway does sound better, but they both play well. Great necks. I took the wang bar off of the one on the left.

No, that explorer looks hot. I always wanted a Gibson Flying V growing up myself, but could never afford one. I can't remember if you told me the other day (it's been a long one), but how much did you pay for them again? I mean, if you don't mind me asking.

Edit: I bet the necks are nice. They look to be in really nice shape.

The necks are great, minimal fret wear. They both play very well. I paid about $200 w/ shipping for the Explorer one, and about $300 for the other. I think they are worth a little bit more. The one I really wanted which I didn't buy back when I had a chance was the PE, which is now going for $600 and up.

One sweet sounding guitar, had the chance to buy one in '79, but didn't. Kicking myself in the *ss ever since.

That's a beautiful guitar. I like the recessed knobs and switches too. You don't even see that on a Les Paul. I bet you're kicking yourself. Smile

I really am, I saw one on eBay, but from Japan. It was $800 plus $125 for shipping. The guitar sounded so amazing. I know they really don't matter much but if you check out the Boomtown Rats video for Rat Trap, you'll see them playing that guitar. They used them among others.

Dude, sweet mini stack! Never played through one, but I've heard they sound really nice. Did you buy it new or used?

BTW: You're starting to make me jealous with all the new gear. I need to go out and buy something. Smile
