A client want to install audiovisual stations in different locations to show videos to their clients. This content should be sent from one place to those locations through internet. I thought than Apple TV could be a solution, but it must be hacked in order to access it remotly.
The other solution could be mac minis, but it es to expensive, because there are mora than 400 locations. Someone does know a no so expensive solution?

| My solution was a Windows Home Server (WHS). ...you can buy one by HP, or build your own. It still is a pricey solution I guess, but it runs a version of Server 2003, which means you can run lots of cool stuff that normally only servers handle. If you plan on installing stuff on it, it would be easier if you build your own, and actually know how it works over buying one that lacks a keyboard/mouse and LCD connection, like the HP one. |
