The Adium team has announced the release of Adium 1.2.4. According to the developers, this release includes improvements for several IM services (AIM direct connect, Yahoo! file transfer, Google Talk buddy icons, ICQ status notes, and MSN contact visibility). It also adds the ability to make the contact list completely transparent. This feature has been requested by users for some time now. You can view the complete change log for the new release here. Adium 1.2.4 weighs in at 20.1MB, and requires Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later.

My wife installed it on her iMac to replace the version she had (don't know which version that was). She says that it cannot connect to Google and keep on asking for the password (or something along that line). The previous version was glitchy (for Google mainly I think), but still mostly worked. So this new version is worse than the previous one she had.

Anyone else has this same problem?

No problems here with 1.2.4.

I had no issues nice install could log into everything except google for some reason google has been down for a little while to update.

As of today i was able to finally get into google and it works great.
