Ive never had a Mac before and felt i needed to in order to further my job oppertunities.

Im thinking of ordering a new Mac Mini and i have a few questions:

I want to use a KVM switch. I cant find a USB one and the Mac only has USB ports and not PS2 ports etc

Also where can i find a USB Hub. Are all compatible with Macs.

Also i ordered the one with Wireless and Bluetooth etc. I ave a wireless Netgear router. Is it possible that my Mac will connect to that with no worries?

I know these are all Newbie questions! but i hopefully i will know as much about the Mac as i know about the PC!

Thanks

1. USB KVM switches are available all over the place. Try amazon.com, I know I saw a bunch there.

2. USB hubs, get them at any local officemax, compusa, etc. Just about all of them should be compatible with macs. I don't know why they wouldn't be, as USB is an insudstry standard, but as soon as I say ALL hubs are compatible, someone will find some specialized oddball hub that is windows only.

3. Yes, as long as your router is 802.11 b or g, you'll be fine. 802.11a won't work with airport, but those aren't very popular to begin with.

I doesn't matter, but hopefully it's a G for his sake. B is pretty darn slow.
