Thursday, March 20, 2008
Posted by: Charles
Equinux today announced the release of MediaCentral 2.7, a new version of their media center software for Mac OS X. The new version includes a completely overhauled TV engine. According to the company, this provides better picture quality, faster channel switching and direct access to recordings made by The Tube software. The update also improves compatibility with iPhoto '08 libraries. MediaCentral 2.7 is priced at $29.95, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later with an active internet connection.

Is any one a MediaCentral user? Does it integrate well with Elgato TV tuners? _________________ MacBook 1.83Ghz C2D, 2GB Ram, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, OS X 10.6.5

I could be wrong, but I think it only supports a few DVB-T tuners. |

| According to their site, it does not work with El Gato tuners, at least they aren't mentioned. |

I have a eyeTV and Media Central. Media Central doesn't work with my Elgato eyeTv.
Cheers
