Got my first look at a Mac Mini, at one of the local London Drugs stores. For those not familiar with them, they are more like a small department store than a true drugstore. They all have computer sections, and are certified Apple resellers.
Anyway, I asked about upgrading the ram and adding bluetooth, wireless capabilities. The tech in the store said that wouldn't be a problem "just buy the ram elsewhere, get the bluetooth card from an Apple dealer, then come in and buy the Mac Mini from us. We'll put the upgrades in for you".
He indicated there wouldn't be a charge for doing this.
Sounds like it might be a lot cheaper than asking Apple to do it. And good for those who don't want to crack open the Mac Mini themselves. I suspect a lot of resellers would be willing to do this to make a sale.
Might be worth asking about it the next time you see a Mac on display. |

| Most Apple store down in the United States won't even add a Bluetooth card. Sounds like a good deal up there! |
