Does anyone know why my Mac Mini cannot connect to my Time Capsule set at 5GHz 11n ?
My iMac connects straight away no problem.
Even if I turn off security entirely the Mac Mini sees it but just won't connect.
About Mac tells me it has an Airport Extreme.
The best I can get working is 11g with wpa but no n 2.4GHz or 5GHz _________________ MacMini Intel * 2x20" InteliMacs * 2xMBPs 13" * 1TB TC * 8GB iPhone * 16GB iPhone 3G * 30GB iPod Video * 2GB Nano (NetPlayers /Sounbridges /Win7 / 4TB NasLite / 4TB FreeNAS / 4 TB Thecus 4100+/ 4 TB DAS) |

Darn it you are right!!!
I just saw the Airport Extreme and assumed it was the same as the Airport Extreme in my iMac and Time Capsule.
Who would of thought there would be confusion with that one!!!

You are wrong The Mini has 802.11g hardware, so no unlocking.
There were a few iMacs, MacBook Pros and MacBooks that originally shipped with 802.11n hardware that wasn't enabled, and you could buy the enabler and unlock the 802.11n capability. The Mini isn't amongst them unfortunately. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external
