|
|
Hi all,
I've been using my 8Gb 3G nano for a couple of months on tiger (mini 1.8G intel) with no issues, till now.
I was sync'ing the ATV in itunes when I plugged in my nano and the thing froze completely. itunes didn't recognise the nano in devices and now the nano is totally unresponsive and the screen is on.
Any idea how to do a hard/soft reset of the nano so I can get it responding again? Or do I just leave it until the batteries run out and then plug it in?
Many thanks! |

Looks like it is just the way it is - an increasingly common phenomenon with apple products - they just don't work properly on release.
Found a number of articles (I'll dig out the links and post em here) that explain that its just the way the device is...
Just have to reset it each time and wait for a software fix to come out... |

My 5G Video iPOD has done that once, it rest ok in the end. On apples website there are instructions on how to do the reset
I think it was something like
Switch the hold switch to on and then back to off
Then press and hold the MENU and CENTER button for about 5-10 seconds.
The apple logo should appear if it resets _________________ Phil
