Is there a noticeable difference between using HDMI or component video with the Apple TV? I'm mostly worried about the quality of the menus, text, cover art and JPEGs with component. I would also be interested in hearing about the overall video quality with component. I don't have a free HDMI port on my television or feel like using a HDMI splitter at this time. I could always swap the cables out, but that is such a hassle.

HDMI is really sharp and crisp with my TV, but it's pretty darn close. If someone switched them out without telling me, I probably wouldn't even know the difference. I would recommend using the optical out instead of RCA for your audio if you have that option available though. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
